Opera in Williamsburg’s (OIW) Libretto Society has been established to recognize our most steadfast contributors, who have been the backbone of OIW and its success in producing fully-staged professional operas in Williamsburg with world-class singers and staff and with outstanding costumes and orchestra. With Founder, Artistic Director and President, Naama Zahavi-Ely and the world recognized Maestro, Jorge Parodi, OIW is making a name within the opera community. This success could not be accomplished without the generous support from our key donors and artist hosts, and these are now being recognized as members of the OIW Libretto Society.
Anyone who donates $500 or more each season, along with those who host our artists, will be registered as members of the OIW Libretto Society. Once each season OIW will sponsor a free Libretto Society Reception with performances by several OIW singers. Our 2026 free Libretto Society Reception will take place on March 9, please stay tuned for invitations.
Also, Libretto Society members will be the first to receive notices of special upcoming events and will be welcome to attend any of the OIW Advisory Board meetings in order to keep abreast of OIW planning and activities.
A special welcome to the Libretto Society. As you are our strongest and most reliable supporters, you are very much appreciated. Thank you for your support!
